Customized treatments
At Brant Pain Relief Clinic, patients receive more
than a quick “‘textbook”’ adjustment. Because
every patient has individual problems, each treatment is customized.
Dr. Pelletier takes the time to understand your specific concerns,
and then determines the steps to take to correct your body problems that have plagued you for days or years.
Spinal correction
Spinal correction is an advanced method of correcting your spine based on new discoveries made about how our bodies work.
From an early age, our bodies are exposed to too many types of stress and trauma. Hard work, slips and falls, sports injuries, car accidents, prolonged sitting, etc, will cause spinal bones to shift and other spinal bones to twist or compensate causing your spine to lose the natural curvatures.
This process is evident when you look into the mirror and notice your head tilts, your shoulders and hips are not level, one leg is longer than the other, or your clothing just doesn’t seem to fit properly.
As the spine bends, twists, or compensates, damaging stress and tension develops on spinal joints, muscles, and nerves.
The following is a list of symptoms and/or conditions of a serious progressive spinal problem: -
• Osteo arthritis
• Degenerative disc disease
• Sciatica
• Stenosis
• Pinched nerves
• Headaches
• Neck pain
• Hand or arm numbness or tingling
• Chronic hip, knee or foot pain
• Fatigue
• Stiffness / tension across shoulders
• Shoulder pain
Remember! Your body is one single synchronized functioning unit. A curved, bent or twisted spine will cause misalignments, stress or pressure in other areas of your body.
Our success comes from treating the root causes of problems, NOT the symptoms.

Prescription orthotics
Sometimes the source of knee, hip and recurring low back pain may be your feet. Even if your feet are not sore, you may be a candidate for prescription orthotics. Improper foot function and weight distribution of the lower extremities is often the cause of many lower leg, pelvic, back and neck overuse injuries. Prescription orthotics may be covered by your Extended Health Plan. Please check if you are covered.
Orthotics are special inserts custom-made for your own shoes. They can be made to fit in virtually any type of footwear from runners to dress shoes to work boots. Using a computerized gait scan analysis technology and biomechanical evaluation is completed to determine if prescription orthotics can help with your ailments. Construction of professional and quality casting by skilled technicians may then be performed as required.
